Green Park Spatial Use #1 – Program Strands:
On Sundays – Over tea and cookies neighbourhood residents discuss issues of the area, stories from the past, the relationship of the Green Park with the local inhabitants and communities and plan together new actions in the space. The participants decide the needs and themes of the weekly discussion and the form of the discussion. We intend the thoughts and ideas of this weekly discussions to become actions and structures that will define the function of the space once a week.
To Be Continued – Conversations regarding the question of continuity of social, cultural and political bottom-up experiments. Bringing together different experiences and voices we seek to explore new practices and collective alternatives.
Talks & Conversations – Artists, theorists, curators who visit Athens are invited to give a lecture at Green Park
Residencies   of two weeks for artists and theorists. Final presentation open to the public.
Seminars: Performance, Art of Curating, The city in crisis, etc
Music Experiments Focusing on the interaction of music with other art forms.
Free Space – open space and time for actions, performances, discussions and more.
Pop-up Kitchen – once a week

Green Park is an evolving cultural and political experiment that seeks to function as an on-going intervention into the here and now of Athens. We operate the Green Park through a constantly re-evaluated models that tests forms and modes of spatial organisation for specific periods of time. Through practices and structures that evolve we aim to practically explore the limits and potentialities of a spatial intervention in the Athenian landscape. In June 2015 Green Park was occupied and activated through 10day programme of activities that sought to reconstitute it as a public space for exchange, research, debate, meeting and re-thinking. After the summer a series of ephemeral actions and programmes followed, and since November 2015 we have instituted the programme, Green Park Spatial Use #1.
